OCEAN CHANGE
Ocean Change is an interactive exhibition that draws awareness to the impact our daily lives have on the ocean. The aim is to help illustrate the impact we have on the life cycle of plastic and the ocean. The ocean covers over 70% of the Earth’s surface and is the planet’s life support system. The most prominent issue is how our disposal of plastic ends up in landfill and eventually in our oceans. Plastic pollution not only affects the planet but everyone on it.
The exhibition piece consists of three parts demonstrating important issues relating to ocean change including how plastic ends up in our oceans, how it affects marine life and how it impacts us. Furthermore it allows viewers to pick different paths before entering the exhibition to discover divergent ways plastic pollution impacts the environment. The piece will also play sounds and have the scent of the ocean to further engage and better connect the audience to the issues of ocean change.
